Is that supposed to be a couple in the Progressive Insurance commercial?
I have seen a commercial for Progressive Insurance, and there are a two guys going in to buy insurance, and while the commercial doesn't specifically say this, I think they are supposed to be a couple. Anyone else seen this commercial? What do you think?- I thought so too! I think it's supposed to be, since they're together, but the part about the watch confused me and I do not think they are anymore. But I still think it was meant to be that way!

- A lot of commercials are made in such a way that two people of the same sex in them will be construed by people as being and by straight people as being straight - that's the intention of the ad agencies. I also like the Sonic commercials with the black - haired guy and the blond - haired guy with the flattop
- It very possibly could be. I saw the commercial and wondered. I pondered it for awhile. And i have a theotheories Progressive is trying to hint that they are friendly without losing their homophobic straight customers. The s will ume it is two guys and straight guys might ume that they are friends, co workers, brothers, etc. It is a very VERY good attempt to be politically correct. they are satisfying both sexualities
